Keith Cole has more than 20 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering, specializing in hazardous waste assessment and remediation and multimedia compliance. He has conducted several hundred intrusive site investigations and accompanying remediation system designs for an array of industries and geographies. His project work in the evaluation and application of various remediation technologies includes system design, construction, operation and management, compliance and permitting. Keith is well-versed in various federal remedial investigation programs of RCRA and CERCLA, as well as multiple states’ clean programs related to hazardous waste, petroleum and wastewater. His compliance background includes plan development related to spill prevention, stormwater, hazard communication, emergency response and contingency planning. Keith is a licensed professional engineer in 14 states throughout the southern US and Midwest, and holds certifications as a certified hazardous materials manager (CHMM), qualified environmental professional (QEP), board-certified environmental engineer (BCEE) and soil erosion and sedimentation control specialist. Keith has been awarded the Georgia Engineer of the Year for Private Practice for his design-build engineering work on bioremediation systems.
