Ross Jones is a professional geologist with over 23 years of experience designing and implementing contaminated site investigations and remedial actions, as well as conducting and managing due diligence, environmental liability assessments and regulatory compliance evaluations of commercial and industrial facilities. Ross’ site assessment and remediation experience includes completion of an RI/FS at a 140-acre former zinc smelting and processing site (with an estimated 400,000 tons of zinc processing slag); oversight of the remediation of approximately 200,000 cubic yards of contaminated fill material and debris at a former dumping site in Chicago; investigation and remediation of a former paint manufacturing site with an on-site landfill; and investigation and remediation of an approximately 100-year old steel spring manufacturing facility. Ross’ due diligence experience includes comprehensive environmental assessments and regulatory reviews of mining (coal, uranium, bauxite and aggregate), chemical, automotive, energy and consumer product companies and production facilities.
