Imants Reks is a professional geologist with over 35 years of experience leading environmental programs for public, private and federal clients. He currently co-leads the emerging contaminants team for Ramboll in the Americas.Imants has provided technical and strategic direction on PFAS projects in New York and New Jersey, including serving as project officer for a PFAS and 1,4-dioxane evaluation and investigation program of inactive landfills across New York state. His expertise includes program management, project management and technical and strategy development for national and regional remediation programs for major industrial, utility and public clients. His experience includes design and implementation of investigation and remediation projects at hazardous waste sites, landfills, manufactured gas plant (MGP) sites, active manufacturing sites, multi-party sites, Superfund sites, and contaminated sediment sites under various regulatory programs.
