Tammy Adams has over 15 years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on technical support of litigation matters. She has worked on several class action lawsuits, toxic tort cases and insurance recovery efforts in the management, evaluation, interpretation and visualization of environmental data and the assessment of human health risks. Tammy has managed several large and multifaceted projects involving the retrospective evaluation of potential exposures following emergency response events and historical employment. Her project work has included the assessment of impacts to air, soil, sediment and groundwater from constituents including volatile and other organic compounds, heavy metals and radionuclides. She has supported testifying experts through various stages of legal proceedings, and has provided on-site technical support during trial. Tammy has managed large project teams in matters involving coastal land loss, which included the evaluation of both natural and anthropologic factors. In addition to litigation support, Tammy has assisted clients in evaluating the cost and necessity of investigation and corrective action measures in the context of the regulatory framework. Tammy also has experience in the site solutions practice area, including site characterization and remediation work. She has conducted soil and groundwater sampling to assess the extent and concentrations of chemicals of concern and has performed maintenance and sampling on remediation systems.
