Bill Stone has more than 30 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering. He has conducted more than a thousand environmental assessments and due diligence reviews across an array of industries and geographies for multinational clients. He has conducted soil and groundwater investigations and developed remediation plans for soil and ground water cleanup at numerous sites under a variety of federal and state statutes. He has provided expert witness testimony in matters involving the distribution, fate and source of soil and groundwater contamination; underground storage tanks; consistency with the National Contingency Plan (NCP); the CERCLA petroleum exclusion; and the cost of implementing soil and groundwater remedies. As a past member of the American Petroleum Institute’s Ground Water Technical Task Force, Bill directed applied research in the areas of groundwater monitoring, recovery and treatment of petroleum hydrocarbons.
