Mark Flavin has more than 22 years of experience in environmental consulting and hydrogeology, with a primary focus on site investigations, remediation and innovative closure solutions to support regulatory compliance, property transactions and legal disputes. He has conducted several hundred environmental assessments and remediation projects across an array of industries and geographies for industrial, municipal and law firm clients. Mark has worked primarily within the CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, LUST, state cleanup, brownfields and voluntary remediation programs. His practice includes providing expert witness testimony in matters involving the distribution, release timing, fate and source of soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion contamination, and evaluating the necessity and cost appropriateness of site remediation. Geographically, much of Mark’s practice is focused in Indiana and other Midwestern states. He has been a regular contributor to technical assistance groups related to Indiana’s development and expansion of its Risk Integrated System of Closure (RISC).
