Eric Hodek has 19 years of experience, with particular expertise managing complex air quality compliance, permitting and impact analysis projects in 18 US states. He has managed numerous projects for upstream oil and gas exploration and production, midstream natural gas transmission, coal-fired power production, cement and lime manufacturing, mining (non-metallic minerals and gold mining), general manufacturing and industrial fabrication, specialty chemical manufacturing (carbon black, urea, consumer pharmaceuticals) and military clients. Eric has broad regulatory experience in the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. His federal air quality regulation expertise includes New Source Review and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (NSR/PSD) permitting and review, New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Pollutants (NESHAP) Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) and Title V Operating Permits. Prior to his consulting career, Eric spent five years as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army, where he served as battalion and brigade environmental compliance officer, improving battalion and brigade environmental compliance audit scores in just one year. He holds a BS in environmental science from the University of Oklahoma, and an MBA with honors from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business.
