Dr. Paul Krause has over 30 years of experience in the fields of marine and aquatic ecology, toxicology, environmental impact analysis, environmental risk assessment, modeling, and regulatory permitting and negotiation as an academic researcher and professional environmental consultant. Paul is an internationally recognized expert in marine ecology and toxicology, particularly related to the oil and gas industry, specializing in issues related to large-scale development. His particular expertise involves marine ecological issues related to new project development and decommissioning including artificial reef development, rigs-to-reefs and other leave-in-place project options. Paul is well versed in a broad range of environments and regulations, having worked throughout the US (including Alaska and Hawaii), the Gulf of Thailand, Brunei, Australia, New Zealand and West Africa. Paul received his BS in marine biology and MS in biology from California State University, Long Beach and his Doctoral degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
