Richard Mazurkiewicz has over 25 years of environmental consulting experience. He manages site and remedial investigations, develops risk-based cleanup criteria, with particular expertise in Wisconsin agency regulations. Ric most recently worked for a petroleum client performing underground storage tank (UST) removals, UST replacements (including arrangement of soil disposal and impacted groundwater removal) and performed immediate response spill cleanup in the Midwest USA (Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin). He has worked with a variety of clients, including legal firms, government, private businesses, gasoline service chains and non-profit organizations). Ric has prepared proposals for all phases of site investigation activities; scoped and implemented lead-impacted soil remediation for US Coast Guard lighthouse projects; designed and implemented regulatory case closure utilizing injection or placement of oxygen releasing compound at gasoline and fuel oil release sites; and assessed vapor intrusion (VI), conducted monitoring, evaluated VI data and developed VI risk analysis as part of site investigation activities. He has also completed numerous projects involving removal of contaminated and is knowledgeable with groundwater and hydraulic data evaluation. Ric holds a BS in geoscience from Wisconsin University-Milwaukee. He is 40-Hour OSHA Certified and a Wisconsin-certified PECFA consultant.
