Snejana Karakis has over eight years of environmental consulting experience in project execution and management. Snejana's experience includes environmental due diligence, environmental site assessment and characterization, site investigation and site remediation projects. She has managed a number of environmental projects entailing soil and groundwater investigation and remedial action associated with petroleum and chlorinated solvent impacts, successfully obtaining regulatory closure. Her work at Ramboll entails developing investigation and remediation strategies, implementing site characterization and remediation plans and feasibility studies involving soil and groundwater contamination; conducting remediation alternatives analyses, and collaborating with clients and regulatory agencies to identify needs and solutions. Snejana has served as an adjunct professor in the environmental sciences at Carroll University and in the geosciences department at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
