Michael Shaw is a Chartered health and safety (H&S) practitioner with 23 years’ experience in civil engineering and risk management. He works with clients across many sectors to deliver effective H&S solutions at operational and strategic levels. Michael is proficient in the management and delivery of safety risk management, integrated management systems, bespoke training, construction safety, design risk management, compliance assurance, auditing, fire risk management, incident responseand public safety consultancy.
Michael holds an MSc in Health & Safety Risk Management from the University of Leicester. He is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Association for Project Safety and the Safety and Health Consultants Register. He is an incorporated engineer for the Engineering Council and a Construction Skills Certification Scheme management card holder.
