Luke Holt has extensive experience managing projects and operations on complex processing facilities, including renewable energy, LNG, mining and infrastructure. His experience spans the entire asset lifecycle, including concept selection, design, construction, commissioning and operations. With a focus on safe and predictable delivery of complex and multi-disciplinary project scopes, his specific strengths include coaching and mentoring, complex problem solving and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels. Luke is a strategic thinker who brings a robust focus on strategy and risk to leadership roles, particularly where there is a dynamic environment or challenging operating conditions.

Luke earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and his MBA from the University of Western Australia. Additionally, he holds his CPEng, is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and is recognised as a Project Management Professional with PMI.

Currently, Luke is the Project Manager on the Kwinana Waste to Energy Project where Ramboll’s role is Owners Engineer.

Establishing Australia’s first large-scale energy from waste project

The waste-to-energy plant in Western Australia has the potential to reduce CO2 emissions by 400,000 tonnes per year. It will be capable of processing 400,000 tonnes of waste a year and producing 38MW of electricity, enough to power up to 55,000 homes.
