As Director of Strategy, Dr. Douglas Daugherty is responsible for coordinating strategic growth for Ramboll Environment and Health in the Americas across all Service Lines and Sectors. In his Western Region COO role, he oversees operations of Ramboll Environment and Health’s US West Coast and Intermountain West offices.

Doug has more than 20 years of chemical engineering and industrial hygiene experience, providing solutions in air quality, carbon management, risk assessment, manufacturing, ports and mining. He has also prepared and evaluated numerous California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) climate change/GHG emissions, criteria air pollutants, air toxics emission inventories and air quality and health risk assessment analyses for a range of industrial and transportation infrastructure clients, including for BNSF Railway and the ports of San Francisco, Richmond, Benicia, Redwood City, Portland, Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego. He led the development of the port of San Diego’s clean air plan to reduce criteria pollutants and a climate action plan to reduce GHG emissions. Doug holds a BS in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in chemical engineering from Princeton University.

Officially opened on 17th June 2016 the new Tate Modern extension later named the Blavatnik building is an iconic world-class addition to London’s skyline. Enabling new ways to display Tate's collection, the new building has been instrumental to Tate Modern's recent success, as it topped the polls as the UK's most visited attraction in 2018.
