Eden Wildy has over twenty years’ experience of environmental and biodiversity consulting in sub-Saharan Africa. He has undertaken environmental and social due diligence (ESDD) assessments and managed environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) in multiple sectors to international industry standards, including the Equator Principles, African Development Bank Sustainability Safeguards, IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability, and the World Bank’s Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines. Eden has acted as lender’s advisor for multiple international financial institutions (IFI) and commercial banks. His international experience in environmental consulting has included projects in South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Jordan, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Seychelles. He specialises in multi-disciplinary project management, managing extensive specialist teams to ensure quality deliverables within project timeframes and budgets. He has often worked and liaised with multi-donor trusts, consortiums comprising IFI and national governmental departments to facilitate effective public-private partnerships and provide African solutions to African issues. Eden holds a BA in Philosophy and MSc (Hons) in Zoology.
