John Grant has more than 15 years of experience developing emission inventories and emission control analyses. He focuses on emissions of criteria pollutants, greenhouse gases (GHGs) and toxics at project, municipal, state and multi-state levels. His work includes extensive experience developing on-road vehicle, off-road equipment, oil and gas, nonpoint, stationary, and port emission inventories and control strategy assessments. He also develops modeling and analysis tools to generate these emissions inventories and control strategy analyses. John’s has expertise in evaluating emission reductions and costs and cost effectiveness from on-road vehicle, off-road mobile and nonpoint sources. He regularly performs state-of-the-science reviews of current emission inventory approaches and recommends and implements revisions to improve emission inventory accuracy. John has managed numerous state implementation plan-related projects on emissions inventory and control programs in Texas and Idaho, as well as states throughout the Midwest. He has participated in numerous project analyses under both the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to examine emissions and air quality impacts.
