Lis has 18 years of biodiversity, invasive species, environmental science and project management experience, with particular expertise in analysis of the effects of anthropogenic disturbances on ecosystems. She applies her expertise in nature-based solutions, remediation, analysis for sensitive species, shellfish biology, ecosystem services, sustainability planning and monitoring, International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards and Equator Principles biodiversity due diligence, and restoration of natural systems. Lis has worked on disturbances from chemical and oil spills to invasive species, grazing, erosion and climate change. She is experienced in planning studies for restoration, management, conservation and monitoring. She is also accomplished at integrating field data into mathematical models to predict long-term ecosystem outcomes. She uses her extensive analytical and programming skills to characterize, analyze and model large data sets to support her clients. Lis has worked in many areas of the United States, in Kenya, and in several countries in Latin America.
