Sue has 30 years of experience as an environmental and health consultant. She specializes in the assessment and management of risks relating to exposure to chemicals in the workplace, consumer products and the environment, using these tools to inform clients’ decision making. Sue provides strategic and technical advice for product safety and product stewardship, helping companies across the world manage the obligations and business risks related to the development, manufacture, use and disposal of products. She helps organisations comply with global chemical regulations, drive effective communication through the supply chain and manage issues relating to market acceptance and sustainability of their products. She has extensive experience evaluating environmental and product contamination and its mitigation, including helping companies respond appropriately when products fail to meet regulatory requirements. She uses multidisciplinary expertise and new approaches to resolve complex problems in product safety. Sue also provides technical advocacy in relation to emerging science and policy and product-related advice during acquisition and divestiture activity. Sue trained in physics at Imperial College, London and has worked extensively across Europe, as well as the US and Asia.
