Vasco Roma brings to Ramboll more than 14 years of professional experience in environmental consulting with a focus on air quality permitting, auditing and general compliance support. Throughout his career, he has worked with a variety of clients in different industrial sectors, including petroleum and natural gas production and processing, glass manufacturing, municipal solid waste landfilling and power generation.
Vasco has considerable experience with minor source, Title V, and PSD permitting programs, and has prepared permit applications for sources located in several states, including Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wyoming. He also has extensive experience in air quality and multimedia compliance auditing, and has performed audits and regulatory reviews for facilities in industries such as electric power generation, petroleum and natural gas production and processing facilities, glass manufacturing facilities, chemical manufacturing, paper and wood product manufacturing and food production.
Vasco previously worked for Ramboll (then ENVIRON International) from 2003–2010, where he participated in environmental assessments and regulatory compliance audits for the Clean Air Act regulations as well as other major environmental programs such as Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.
Vasco earned a BS in biological engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal.
