Lars Riemann is the Group Director for Buildings in Ramboll. In this function he provides Strategic Leadership of Ramboll's business within the Buildings Market.

This includes overall strategic leadership, Communication, International Business Development, Knowledge Sharing, Management of Strategic Projects, representing Ramboll at client meetings and conferences etc.

During his 20 years of practicing engineering Mr. Riemann has had many roles such as: specialist structural engineer, Key Account Manager, Project Manager, Head of Department, Head of Section, Market Director and Corporate Director/Group Director.

Mr. Lars Ostenfeld Riemann is a specialist in advanced structural engineering. Through his work Mr. Riemann has gained experience within design and optimisation of light steel structures, incl. sheet steel structures, in particular, experience with thin sheet lattice trusses and I-sections with corrugated sheet web.

Mr. Riemann has project experience from more than 30 countries including Russia, China, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, UK, US, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, Qatar, Saudi, UAE, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Bermuda, Bahamas, El Salvador, Cayman Islands and Mauritius.

Mr. Riemann has been chairman of the Danish Society for Structural Science and Engineering (www.dsby.dk) – one of the oldest societies of its kind in the world. All noteworthy structural engineers in Denmark including university professors, consulting engineers and contractors are members of this society.
