The paid six-month Career Comeback programme is designed to bring experienced professionals up to speed with the current market following a career break or change.
We’ll match you to engineering, design, project management, or consultancy roles within Ramboll that suit your skillset, experience, personal circumstances, areas of interest and ambition.
These flexible, full-time or part-time opportunities allow you to exercise your expertise, curiosity and creativity on exciting projects. You'll benefit from additional training, one-to-one sessions with a specialist career coach, and guidance from an internal mentor. You'll also be welcomed into a community of fellow programme participants across the company.
Whilst there is no guarantee, it is the goal of the programme to secure a permanent position within Ramboll at the end of the six months.

Work in a friendly and flexible environment
You’ll be supported to work flexibly from day one.
We believe flexible working is good for our people and our business and welcome applications from those seeking to work on a full or part-time basis.
Ramboll has offices across the UK within easy reach of public transport, including in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Chester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton. However, most of our employees choose to split their working week between home and the office. We’ll discuss and agree a working pattern and balance between home and the office that works for you and your role before you start, but you can agree adjustments with your line manager at any time.
It’s all part of our inclusive culture where everyone can come to work, feel comfortable and confident to be themselves and work in a way that suits them.
