You will join our Environment and Health Business Unit

As our new Consultant, you will be supporting our subject matter experts in the area of industrial chemical, agrochemical and or biocidal regulatory approvals in the Republic of Korea. You will bring the ability to communicate across an interdisciplinary team, engaging with other business and technical professionals, externally with clients and regulatory agencies.  You will support from a regulatory and administrative perspective the preparation of regulatory submissions for a variety of chemical related products including industrial chemicals, biocidal and pesticide products.  A strong customer service ethic and ability to multitask is vital for this role.  You will present a positive “can-do” attitude and be a self-starter within a team of dedicated professionals. Reporting to the Principal, Health Sciences, your role is based in South Korea and your scope of work might also cover other Asia Pacific countries.

Your key tasks and responsibility will be:

  • Support the execution of Product Stewardship and Safety projects with a focus on K-BPR and Pesticide regulation
  • Act as team member for interdisciplinary / international Regulatory projects
  • Advise clients on existing as well as upcoming regulatory obligations (in the fields of environmental, health & safety-related topics) with the support of the Project Manager
  • Support with the preparation and submission of client proposals
  • Act as interface between the Korean client and international Ramboll colleagues
  • Work closely with our international team within the Ramboll Health Science Spearhead
  • Support the Project Manager on administrative and financial project tasks

  • Higher education in Science (e.g. chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biology, (eco)-toxicology, environmental science, etc)
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in any of the following consulting, chemical, biocide, pesticide regulations, K-OSHA, Food or Pharma regulations
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work streams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining outstanding attention to detail and quality of deliverables
  • Experience/comfort with working on a virtual team with stakeholders across geographies
  • Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis, as needed

 

 

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:

  • You are fluent in Korean and English (additional languages are a plus)
  • You are a confident communicator and listener and like interacting with people
  • You have previous experience in working within an international and multicultural organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational capabilities
