Ramboll has been awarded a contract by Saipem, through its subsidiary Saipem SA, to perform the primary steel design of the monopile foundations for the Calvados Offshore Wind Farm (Courseulles-sur-Mer), located 10 km off the Bessin coast in northwestern France.  

Denmark needs renewable energy generated from two energy islands linked to offshore wind farms to achieve its ambitious climate goals by 2030. Ramboll will assess impact of the planned Baltic Sea energy island on the surrounding marine environment.

Patrick Gilly, who until March 2020 was the Managing Director of Total E&P Denmark and since then has had his own consultancy, will join Ramboll on 1 September in a position as director of one of Ramboll’s energy divisions.
