New energy technology expert with strong Power-to-X expertise joins Ramboll

Megha Rao joins Ramboll’s growing Power-to-X team, bringing solid skills in energy and safety planning, electrochemical analysis, process design, and experimental set-up design and construction.

Power-to-X is a promising and fast-growing business for our CO2 neutral future and by welcoming Megha to our team, Ramboll will now be better equipped for serving clients and their Power-to-X projects.

In her previous role, Megha has worked for Hybrid Greentech Aps as Energy Technology Expert where she was responsible for feasibility analyses and consultancy services related to energy storage transition in grid integrated systems. She has also worked with thermodynamic modelling of steel plants combined with fuel cells and CO2 capture, and with electrochemical testing of low and high temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane fuel cell stacks.

Megha is a chemical engineer with a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology and a PhD in Applied Electrochemistry where her research focused on co-electrolysis using Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells for methane production enabling storage of electricity from renewable sources.
