New Managing Director of Energy

Hannes Reuter has been appointed as Managing Director for Ramboll’s global Energy division, which covers more than 1,600 employees across 15 countries.

Hannes Reuter comes from a position as Vice President for Commercial Operations in EnergyNest – a Norwegian based energy start-up within thermal battery technology. Before this, he held the position as Vice President for Green Waste Solutions in Ørsted.
From 1996 to 2017, Hannes Reuter held different positions within energy in Siemens, including Head of the Megaproject Egypt, CEO of Siemens Onshore Wind in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and CEO of Siemens Energy Italy.

Hannes Reuter replaces Michael Simmelsgaard, who was in March appointed to the Group Executive Board as Group Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for the principal business units Energy, Environment & Health and Management Consulting
