As companies all over the world need strategic advice and support for sustainable change, Ramboll Management Consulting is rapidly expanding to serve more clients across the globe. Now, the division has put a pin in the US map following the UK where the team opened for business in April. In both cases, providing strategic sustainability consulting will be the number one priority, yet with many more services to follow.
In the US, newly recruited Director, Blythe Chorn, and team will supplement Ramboll’s 2,000 US experts that already provide specialist services within environment health science, green energy systems, advanced manufacturing and water from east to west.
Leading companies – leading solutions
Markus Diederich, Managing Director for Ramboll Management Consulting, is happy about expanding strategic sustainability services to the US:
“I am very pleased with the rapid growth of these types of consulting services and the US market is ideal for us. Not only is the US a big market for the Ramboll Group, but some of the world’s leading companies are American and for our part we bring world-leading green solutions from the world’s most sustainable region; the Nordics”.
“I firmly believe that we have found a very capable leader in Blythe Chorn to grow the team and help us become our client’s preferred partner for sustainable change”
A business imperative
Blythe Chorn joins Ramboll from Deloitte Consulting where she has spent the last ten years providing expert guidance to Fortune 500 companies, notably in manufacturing, retail and real estate to drive the evolution of sustainability in businesses from a ‘nice to do’ to a strategic business imperative.
Prior to this, Blythe spent a number of years at BSR (Business for Social Responsibility) where she advised global clients in the realms of supply chain sustainability and ESG reporting. Blythe Chorn holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Upon joining Ramboll, the new Director says:
“The US now requires both ESG guidance and technical insight, both strategy and solutions. What is exciting about joining Ramboll is the ability to provide our clients access to the entire Ramboll platform in the US and globally. To meet their ambitious ESG and climate goals, our clients require pathways based upon interconnected solutions. By combining engineering and science with economics and strategy, I am convinced that Ramboll has a fantastic proposition, one that can both drive and deliver sustainability transformation."
With the US team now taking shape, the service-line Strategic Sustainability Consulting serves clients across the Nordics, Germany, the UK and the US as well as the Benelux/EU-market from the office in Brussels.
