"Ramboll has grown strongly in Germany in recent years and has a high importance for us as a market," explains Jens-Peter Saul, CEO of the Ramboll Group. "We are very successful in combining the Danish know-how with German engineering skills. Thus, Ramboll contributes significantly to the economic development in both countries. We are delighted to be awarded the German-Danish Business Award for this achievement".
In Germany, Danish solutions are increasingly in demand in areas such as infrastructure and urban planning, digitisation and climate protection. "Ramboll is actively shaping the energy turnaround in Denmark, has implemented innovative mobility solutions all over the country and has set standards with new approaches to urban planning," says Stefan Wallmann, Managing Director for Ramboll Germany. "All these topics are on the agenda in Germany as well. We have the expertise to implement suitable solutions for the German market and benefit greatly from the experience of our Danish colleagues".
In concrete terms, the German-Danish winning formula can currently be seen in the planning of super bike paths in Berlin, in the implementation of district heating or in the planning of Europe's largest transport infrastructure project: the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link.
