Within the elite field of immersed tunneling Ramboll can truly reinforce our position as a true top tier consultant with the addition of Andrew to our team. Make no mistake, this is a really strong message to the market, that even in these difficult times, Ramboll is still open for business and pushing forward. From Andrew
I am delighted to join the division of Major Crossings based in the Tunnel Department in Copenhagen and look forward to building on the strong presence that Ramboll has established in the niche market of immersed tunnelling.
I have worked with Ramboll’s tunnel team on and off for the last 25 years and have always been impressed with their creativity, professionalism and integrity. My first experience of Ramboll dates back to the construction of the Øresund Tunnel in the late 1990’s. As a young engineer I worked on the project for five years during the detailed design and construction of this record-breaking tunnel. This was my introduction to the immersed tunnel technique which proved to be a formative experience in my professional development.
