Once hosting a rubber factory, the Tretorn site in Elsinore west of Kronborg Castle, Denmark, is now undergoing a significant change and getting prepared for construction of residential property. As part of this change, a rainwater pipeline outlet is being moved, extended and immersed into the sea.

As a client advisor, Ramboll has helped Elsinore Utility prepare the design & build material and identify the most qualified turn-key contractor. This attractive contract was won by the Danish contractor Per Aarsleff, and the project is now progressing according to the plan. Recently, the first parts of the two outlet pipes – DN710mm and 300m long – were successfully immersed and hooked up to the pipes on land.
