ebook cover- Mersey Gateway story
In just over a month after opening, approximately 60 to 70 thousand vehicles a day crossed the Mersey Gateway, making over 2 million journeys. The project was championed by Halton Borough Council in order to ease congestion caused by lack of capacity on the existing Silver Jubilee Bridge. The benefits to the local region are already apparent, with shorter journey times across the region.
In the short video you’ll see wonderful footage of the bridge, and get the inside story, told by those responsible for its delivery. The e-book provides stunning photos, facts and figures about the project.
