IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition: What a week in Copenhagen!

From 11-15 September, water professionals from all over the world met in person to network, share knowledge, and seek new inspiration at the International Water Association World Water Congress & Exhibition in Bella Center, Copenhagen. And judging by the dynamic atmosphere and high energy-level throughout the entire event, people really needed to meet again after too many years with COVID-related restrictions and lockdowns. As a Gold Sponsor with more than 20 workshops and presentations, close involvement in several official fora, sub-events, and technical tours, Ramboll would especially like to thank IWA, the Danish Host Committee, Young Water Professionals and DTU Skylab for fruitful collaborations before and during the event. By also hosting the official Young Water Professionals social dinner, it was very clear that the younger generations provide the energy, bright ideas, and innovative thoughts that the global water sector – and the world as such – needs to address the water and climate-related challenges of tomorrow. So, the conclusion is clear: IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2022 was a great success, and the vibrant atmosphere was very promising for the future!
