Tampere's new landmark, the sculptural Hotel Torni Tampere rises to a height of 88 meters and is currently the tallest hotel and commercial building in Finland. The hotel consists of 140-year-old locomotive stables and a new part. The new building has 25 above-ground and two underground floors. There are restaurants and three small meeting rooms on the first floor. All 305 hotel rooms are located in the tower. The completely restored locomotive stables have a restaurant and meeting rooms of various sizes on two floors. Some of the meeting rooms can be combined and can accommodate up to 1,000 people.
Ramboll designed the site's electrical, telecommunications and security systems.
