Currently there are many large scale construction projects in the capital area of Finland. One of the most challenging ones is Mall of Tripla which is being built in Pasila, a developing suburb only 5 minutes north from Helsinki city center. It will combine all aspects of urban living.
The conceptual design of Mall of Tripla was done by the Dutch Office for Metropolitan Architecture (O.M.A.). Arkkitehdit Soini & Horto Oy is the architect and head designer in Finland.
Tripla is an urban building complex spread in the area of three blocks. It consists of a shopping mall, offices, apartments, a hotel and a new center for public transportation.
Pasila will be the main intersection of public transportation in the Helsinki metropolitan area with the most bustling train station in Finland.
After Mall of Tripla is finished it will be the shopping mall with the widest selection of shops and restaurants in Finland. The construction work started in summer 2015 and it is expected to be completed in stages between 2019-2022. Ramboll is involved in geotechnical engineering, structural design, building service technology and lighting design services as well as landscape design and special expertise tasks related to contaminated soil.
