To achieve this we developed the fire strategy from performance based concepts using the principles of the Russian fire laws for the Project Specific Technical Specifications which detailed the technical analysis including computational fluid dynamics modelling.

We used this to satisfy the local regulators that while this doesn’t comply to the specifics of the codes, it will provide an equivalent and in some cases higher level of safety for passenger, as well as enabling easier fire management  practices and providing better business continuity.
