Capturing carbon emissions from Amager Bakke waste-to-energy facility

With a full-scale carbon capture plant, the Copenhagen waste-to-energy facility will from the end of 2025 be able to capture 500,000 tonnes of CO2 annually and help both the Danish capital become carbon neutral and Denmark achieve its CO2 reduction target. Ramboll is partner and technical advisor for the project.

Ramboll will be involved in developing the business model and estimating the fees during the second phase of the project.
