UN Global Compact

Since 2007, has been Ramboll a signatory to the UN Global Compact (UNGC). We are committed to the ten principles of the UNGC, and we respect and promote these principles throughout our operations. We report on our progress in our annual report, which constitutes Ramboll’s ‘Communication on Progress’ (COP) Report in compliance with the UN Global Compact Advanced level reporting criteria.

Procurement, supplier engagement, sustainability in the value chain, and supplier screening

Ramboll aims to have a positive impact throughout our value chain through our procurement practices and by engaging in a respectful dialogue with suppliers.

We require all suppliers to sign our Business Associate Code, which is based on UN Global Compact principles and ensures suppliers comply with environmental and ethical standards. We also screen suppliers, such as by evaluating whether they have set science-based climate targets. By 2028, we aim for 70% of our suppliers to have science-based targets based on emissions covering purchased goods and services, as committed to the SBTi within our near-term carbon reduction targets.

Ramboll Group is awarded a gold medal as recognition of our EcoVadis ESG rating, as of February 2024. Ramboll has reported at Group level since 2020.
