Ramboll has prepared a new water supply plan for Hillerød Municipality including inspection of waterworks and meetings. The plan provides a framework for the supply of drinking water to citizens and business and describes the policies and objectives that the municipality are working for regarding the water supply. The water supply plan mainly includes the technical part of the water supply.
Ramboll has delivered technical assistance to regional authorities for provision of water and sanitation service and facilitate the decentralisation process in three regions: Sikasso, Mopti and Koulikoro.
The coastal settlement and local infrastructure is threatened by coastal flooding as a result of sea level rise and coastal storm surges.
A means to succeeding with implementation of cloudburst plans for the municipalities of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg is the use of SUDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) for infiltration of rainwater. The purpose of the project was to evaluate the consequences of increased storm water infiltration to the surrounding areas, including changes in groundwater levels and quality.

The growth in the frequency and severity of extreme rainfall has significantly increased the risk of flooding from rivers and urban drainage systems of insufficient capacity. It is a huge investment to dig into the earth and expand the sewer systems in urban areas, so other measures may prove to be better and cheaper alternatives.
In order to improve the connection between Sørli and Lillehammer in Norway, Ramboll is planning a new 70-kilometre double track railway line.
